Do you love Greek food but don’t know how to make it at home? Do you want to learn how to cook healthy and tasty dishes that are inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine? Join us for a three hour cooking class where you will learn how to prepare, cook, and enjoy four classic dishes from a Greek taverna. You will also get tips on how to use fresh herbs, spices, olive oil, and other ingredients that are essential for Greek cooking.
What you will learn:
How to make Halloumi and Arugula Salad, a refreshing salad of Halloumi cheese, peppery greens, walnuts and lemon dressing
How to make Fries the Greek Way, crispy potatoes seasoned with oregano and sea salt
How to make Keftedes, juicy meatballs flavored with onions, garlic and herbs
How to make Cabbage Rolls, tender cabbage leaves stuffed with rice, beef, and herbs, finished in an Avgolemono sauce
How to make Portokalopita, a moist and fragrant cake made with phyllo dough, yogurt, eggs, and orange syrup
The class is a combo of demo with some participation from attendees. Samples of all the dishes made will be served.
Non-alcoholic refreshments will be served.
