Oreo Tres Leches Cake

Jump to Recipe

Last year during the Christmas holidays, my brother and his family came over. They brought a cookies and cream Tres Leches Cake. Commonly made in central and South America, 3 milks are poured over the cake to make it moist and a little creamy.

This version is a departure from the usual Tres Leches Cake (white cake) but it’s delicious. If you love Oreo cookies you’re gonna love this dessert.

You could use the Oreo cake mix (bought at your supermarket). However, I pulverized Oreo cookies in my food processor. I added powder powder and milk to make a batter that is surprisingly very good!

Next, pour a mixture of sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk over the cooled cake. Wait for the cake to absorb the milks. You can also place it in the fridge overnight.

The final step is to whip up a cream cheese frosting. Spread it over the cake. Then, sprinkle ground Oreos as a garnish.
