Up here in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving on the first Monday of October. The climate is a little colder than that our US neighbors and that’s when we give thanks to a bountiful harvest.
I love Thanksgiving leftovers and this year I made waffles out of leftover stuffing (dressing) and stacked up other turkey leftovers on top. You’re going to need a waffle maker for this dish. If you don’t have one – have a look at some Black Friday deals.
My stuffing waffle held together well, as my recipe contains egg and dairy. If yours doesn’t, you may have to add an egg and turkey broth as a binder to make a waffle that will hold together.
