Last month I hosted my latest Greek Supper Club – an evening of fish and seafood dishes at the St. Lawerence Market Kitchen.

The menu was a combo of Greek classics along with some inventive dishes that  transported you to a seaside taverna in the Mediterranean.

Appetizers:

Homemade bread, Cretan olive oil, olives

Tuna-Stuffed Red Peppers

Fried Cod Bites with Greek Saffron Aioli

Colourful Cabbage Salad with Shrimp

paired with Cavinos Ionos White

1st Course: Giouvarlakia Soup made with Fish/Seafood Meatballs

paired with Giannikos Windmill Malagouzia

2nd course: Aegean Lobster Spaghetti (lobster tail)

paired with Cavino Naousa red

Main course: Salmon Exohiko (wrapped in phyllo) with spinach, herbs, cheese

paired with Cavino Nemea Reserve

Dessert: Karydopita (walnut cake) topped with cream cheese icing

served with Nectar Greek coffee
