Last Sunday was Mother’s Day and I was delighted to once again host this special lunch to honour these wonderful ladies in our lives.

A sold out event, lots of great food and Greek wines, poured by Apostolos Gerakinis with thanks.

Cretan olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Greek pita bread furnished by MT Foods with thanks.

Welcome Mimosa made with Debina Sparkling from Zitsa (Epirus)

Appetizers:

Whipped Feta Topped with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, warm pita bread

Chicken Gyro in Lettuce Wraps

Dessert: Greekstyle Profiteroles topped with Chocolate Sauce
