Last weekend the celebrations of Apokries (Greek Carnival) ended on Cheesefare Sunday. For those observing, we are now in the period known as Great Lent.

Lsdt Sunday’s Supper Club highlighted dairy, cheeses and eggs in all the dishes. It’s Cheesefare Sunday and we’re gonna eat!

Greek ingredients were furnished from BuyGreek.Shop and all wines and spirits from Greece,as poured by my friend ApostolosGerakinis.

MENU

Appetizers:

Ouzo and Beet Cured Salmon on Flatbread

Cheese Pie made with Housemade Phyllo

Roast Potatoes “Bravas” with Aioli

Homemade Bread

paired with Semeli Feast Moschofilero White

1st Course: Spring Salad with Miso and Mint

paired with Katsaros dry Moschato

2nd Course: Seafood Cabbage Rolls with Avgolemono Sauce

paired with Cavino Naoussa Pinot Noir

Main Course: Butternut Squash Pastitsio

paired with Cavino IRIDA Syrah

Dessert: Greek Coffee and Cream Parfait

served with Katsaros Mastiha liqueur
