Last weekend I hosted a Greek Supper Club with some New Orleans ‘Mardi Gras’ twists.

Many thanks to  BuyGreek.shop and  wines from Celebrity Wines & Spirits will be paired with the courses.

MENU

Appetizers:

Cheese Balls with Red Pepper Jam

Creamy Ouzo Shrimp with Cajun Spices

Soutzoukakia (meatballs) Giaourtlou (tomato and yogurt sauce)

Homemade Bread

served with Voltes white Roditis – Moschofilero- Monemvasia

1st Course: Salad with Manouri Cheese, Mandarins, Pistachios, Pomegranate

served with Aria Sauvignon -Blanc – Katsaros

2nd Course: Dirty Rice Dolmades

served with Voltes red – Agiorgitiko- Monemvasia

Main Course: Greek Coffee-Rubbed Pork Ribs, Crispy Roast Potatoes, Green Beans

served with Aria Red – Merlot – Katsaros Winery

Dessert: Chocolate Olive Oil Cake, Praline Sauce, Pecans

served with Greek coffee
