If you don’t want to bother with the real-deal fried ice cream then this method will still make for a delicious dessert. Kid approved!

No-Fry Version of Deep Fried Ice Cream

6 scoops of vanilla ice cream

1 1/2 cups of corn flakes

4 Tbsp. sugar

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/3 cup butter, melted

  1. Place your scoops of ice cream on a parchment lined tray and place in the freezer for an hour.
  2. Meanwhile, pulse your corn flakes, sugar and cinnamon in a food processor until a coarse crumb.
  3. Pulse the mixture while adding a slow stream of butter. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool.
  4. Roll the ice cream balls in the corn flake mix and place back in the freezer for a a couple of hours.
  5. Simply serve “as is” with garnishes of choice (same as with fried ice cream instructions).
