Greek Style Poutine

Greek Style Poutine

This is quick, easy and delicious recipe is related to yesterday’s Beef Kokkinisto recipe – the sauce is like a thick red gravy, great for making something I call Greekstyle Poutine.

Poutine is a French-Canadian creation from Quebec, now loved and made throughout Canada and some places in the US make it.

This Greek style version is easy: Place some crisp fries in plate or platter: top with grated Kelfalotyri, dry Mizithra, Graviera, crumbled Feta but my favourite is grated Halloumi cheese.

As soon as the hot tomato sauce hits the cheese, it melts, gets gooey and forkfuls of Greek style poutine get devoured!
