Last Friday I hosted a fish and seafood dinner that will transported guests to a seaside taverna in Greece. The dinner took place at the PaintBox Bistro, another sold out event and all the dishes were beyond my expectations.
The wines and other Greek spirits were poured by Kolonaki Group and olive oil and other specialty ingredients from Greece donated by Nisos Importing.
A special thank you….European sea bass was flown in from Greece for the dinner. Selonda Aquaculture delivered the goods….guests love the lavraki!

Appetizers:
Baked Clams Riganato
Grilled Calamari with Santorini Fava, Capers
Octopus Meatballs (from Kalymnos)
Homemade bread
1st course: Summer Salad with Garden Greens, Strawberry Balsamic Dressing, Dodoni Feta, Cretan Dako
2nd course: Seafood Giouvetsi (mussels, shrimp, fish)
Main: Grilled Lavraki (European Sea Bass) Potatoes, Horta, Oil/Lemon sauce, capers
Dessert: Bougatsa me Krema (homemade phyllo) + Greek Coffee
Soon I’ll be off to Greece rest, reconnect with family and friends and return with lots of new inspiration for upcoming Greek Supper Clubs.
