A couple of Sundays ago I hosted my second annual Mother’s Day Lunch at Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market Kitchen.
Once again it was an afternoon affair with appetizers being served and once again board was Nisos Importing, furnishing Cretan olive oil and many specialty ingredients from Greece.
Greek wines were poured by Chris Dedes of Majestic Wines and Imports.

Main Course: Greek Style Roast Beef Short Rib Au Jus with Whipped Graviera Cheese Potatoes, Green Beans
Paired with Lyrarakis Syrah/Kotsifali
Dessert: Lemon Tart Brulee with Greek Yogurt served with Mavrodaphne wine
+ Greek Coffee
The next Greek Supper Club is Sunday June 10th and the theme is the Aegean. It’s an all fish and seafood menu and there are still some seats available.
