Recap – XO Fish & Seafood Greek Supper Club

Each summer, the Kalofagas Greek Supper Club dines “XO” (ekso, outdoors), like they do in Greece and the Mediterranean. Last week, another sold out dinner was attended by 50 guests who dined outdoors enjoying fresh fish, seafood and the very best of Greek wine.kalofagasXO_64

Special thanks to Selonda Acquaculture of Greece for flying in the fresh laravki (European sea bass) from Greece. Thank you to Kolonaki Group for pouring Fix Beer, Boutari and Kir Yianni wines and Vinsanto from Santorini. Last but not least, Nisos Importing for their ongoing support with their Cretan olive oil, Cretan oregano and rusks from Tsiknakis.kalofagasXO_67

I’ll be off to Greece soon, resting, spending time with family and friends and of course, discovering more delicious Greek food. The next Greek Supper Club will take place on Sunday, October 25th at St. Lawrence Market.
