All the Christmas baking is done, I have one more recipe to show you but I figure I’d sneak in this super-easy treat that dangerous to make. Anytime a recipe with condensed milk appears in it, beware…you just may double or triple the recipe with all the calories going straight to your hips and ass. Oh well, it’s Christmas…we’re supposed to gain some weight. Our family doubles the recipe.
All-In-One-Pan Squares
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 can (15 oz.) of condensed milk (sweet)
1 – 9″ X 9″ square pan
- Melt the butter and add into the pan. Sprinkle your graham cracker crumbs over the melted butter. Mix the butter and graham crackers with a fork and then spread the crumbs to evenly cover the bottom.
- Now sprinkle your shredded coconut evenly over the graham crumbs, followed by your chocolate chips then walnuts and finally evenly spread your condensed milk with a spatula (careful not to disturb your other layers).
- Bake in a pre-heated 350F oven for 30 minutes (middle rack) and allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Store in a container for up to a month.

OMG, those look divine!
Cheers,

Looks great. For those of us with allergies, any recommendations for coconut & walnut substitutions.
I should not have looked at this! I have all these ingredients right here and boy, I am tempted!!!
All I can say, Peter, is kill me now!! I’ve actually had a variation of these before and they are deadly. However, in the Christmas spirit, I would have one … or two …
Now that looks nice and simple to try out. And the condensed milk looks like it has taken on a nice dulce de leche color too. Bet that amd eit even more scrumptious. Bookmarked!
I am on a diet a month now so as to be able to try such sinful sweets with no regrets or hesitations.
Yummy this looks absolutely divine!!
Peter “αμαρτωλό” το γλυκό σου, αλλά πρέπει να είναι υπέροχο!!!
Μια φορά είναι Χριστούγεννα!!!
Καλές γιορτές να έχεις!
Peter, my Mom used to make these and they are sooooo scrumptious! Thanks for bringing back a childhood memory!
Τι πειρασμός!!!
LOL – love your comment about condensed milk!
Yummm. this looks so delicious! For sure this will be something I’m going to bake for Christmas as I celebrate 2 Christmas’s….one now and one on Jan. 7th and don’t want the same baked goods. Thanks for sharing and great photo’s.
Oh my goodness! Calories, yes….but, you are right, we splurge this time of year. This looks delicious…moist, sweet, yummy!
Peter, these are great! Made them earlier. After making baklava and kourambiethes, boy, this is my kind of recipe; it came together in minutes and clean-up was quick and easy. Thanks!
We can never have enough ideas for holiday baking Peter. From the comments it seems that these come together easily and are delicious.
I’m no one who bakes squares but maybe that has to change!
Those squares would be dangerous around here Peter. I would be digging in the pan all day. Thanks!
Peter – I used to make these every year when my kids were little and you’re bringing back a desire to make them again.
Oh yeah! Except here we don’t like to eat too much around Xmas…we have to go to the beach! LOL!
